Overview

Silence of the Lambs is an American psychological horror film released in 1991 directed by Jonathan Demme, adapted from Thomas Harris' 1988 novel of the same name.

The film starred Jodie Foster as FBI trainee Clarice Starling, Anthony Hopkins as the cannibal serial killer Hannibal Lecter and Scott Glenn as FBI agent-in-charge Jack Crawford

 

Clarice Starling recieves an assignment from Jack Crawford to interview a serial killer formerly known as a psychiatrist Doctor Hannibal Lecter. It is believed that he bears information about an active psychopath serial killer "Buffalo Bill" who kills young women and take parts of their bodies.
